Product Description

The Tamiya F-104 Rubber Tires (Front) in "Hard" compound are essential replacement and tuning parts specifically designed for F104 platform RC Formula 1 models. They empower experienced drivers to precisely adjust front axle tuning to track conditions, achieving more direct steering response and enhanced durability. These tires are a targeted choice for competitive use or for drivers seeking consistent performance on high-grip surfaces.

Key Features

  • Hard rubber compound for reduced wear and consistent handling characteristics, especially in warmer temperatures or on aggressive surfaces.
  • Designed for the front axle to influence steering behavior and stability at high speeds.
  • Slick design without tread for maximum contact area and optimal grip on dry, clean asphalt tracks.
  • Allows for detailed and fine-tuned vehicle balance adjustments when combined with different hardness rear tires.
  • Narrower construction compared to older F103 tires, aligning with the more modern aerodynamics and kinematics of the F104 chassis series.
  • Provides a solid foundation for testing on tracks where very direct front-end grip isn't always desired or necessary.

Technical Specifications

  • Manufacturer Part Number: 51399
