Product Description

The Tamiya F-104 Rubber Rear Tires (Hard) are specially designed replacement or tuning tires for 1:10 scale Tamiya F-104 platform RC Formula 1 cars. They are aimed at drivers who want to optimize their vehicle for use on high-grip surfaces like asphalt, aiming for precise and stable handling. Thanks to their hard rubber compound, these tires offer reduced wear and consistent performance, especially in warmer conditions or on high-grip tracks.

Key Features

  • Hard rubber compound, designed for use on high-grip tracks or in warmer ambient temperatures.
  • Specifically developed for the rear axle of the Tamiya F-104 chassis to maintain its characteristic narrow form factor.
  • Optimized for use on asphalt surfaces, serving as an alternative to foam tires for outdoor use.
  • Allows for controlled handling, including light powerslides on corner exit, when combined with softer front tires (e.g., Tamiya 51399).
  • Offers longer durability and reduced wear compared to softer compounds under demanding conditions.
  • Features an authentic logo print on the tire sidewall for a realistic appearance.
  • Compared to F103 tires, F104 types have a larger diameter and are narrower.
